SOAP DISH

Hey everyone it's been more than 2 months since I last posted, I just thought I should post this particular Ceramic work I did yesterday, it's a soap dish, our Lecturer told us to make a soap dish with the shape of any fruit, and I choose to do the star fruit, I started by drawing the whole of the star fruit in my sketch pad, I actually traced it cos it was hard drawing a star😭 so after I got the size I wanted I then placed the drawing on top of the clay and traced it again😭 to get the exact thing I drew,so I cut it the shape out from the clay and decided to make it thinner cos it was fat after I was done with the shape I smoothen it and punctured some holes in it for drainage. I wanted to take a pic of the process but my hands were muddy from the clay.
