Primordial Waves Poem

I know it's been a minute since we've kicked it
The ritual of fun times, God knows I truly miss it

To even be in the presents of the light that you carry I felt gifted
Such a terrific pair of daughters that will keep me lifted
I listen
 to when words are spoken
And when the both of you grab for my hand to cross the street
I become awoken and alert
I always told you safety first
Look both ways before you cross the path of cars
Getting hit will get you hurt
I hate the fact I'm not there everyday 

knowing i truly care
I don't find it fair
That you have live in a different state

In a different place and my state of mind is so jumbled that I feel disgraced and embarrassed
Cause I was there for your birth
And i not there to be active as a father and it makes it worst
I spend days on finding ways to make these hours work
In my favor so I may take ya to these parks
Lazer tagging and see the sharks at aquariums
Making noises until a librarian tells us to leave
Throwing pop corn in a theater when no can see

the greatest fun that no one believes
When I can really be me
We Derived from the same tree
To leave on my visit makes it difficult 
The connection of father daughters Spiritual 
Is so important.
And so rewarding for ya to know the knowledge needed
The secrets I've been keeping 

ya the only ones to receive it
Just know i got to Teach you tradition
Black culture the struggle your father deals with to stay out of prison.

Just know that daddy loves you more then his own life.

He'll kill myself to save you both And wouldn't think twice
But theres so many things in the way of our togetherness 
that puts me in a large world of bitterness
