POLONIEX STEEM WITHDROWL DOWN

Has any one experienced this before with Poloniex?
I tried withdrawing my steem and it will not let me, says that deposit and withdrawn is temporarily disabled. I saw that there were other currencies that are in the same spot. does anyone know why this happens or for how long ?

Perhaps they did that because of hf19 just in case and heard it pass 2 days to go?
still they should give some kind of notice ...

Sometimes their server crashes due to high volatility of the token and takes time to reinstate dont worry it will come online soon after maintenance.
now it's normal.

Price volatility should have nothing to do with their server being down. Hopefully it's just technical difficulties and they aren't running fractional reserve.
Hi #mikemiziner . Poloniex temporarily disabled Steem and Steem Dollars. Which means, I think all transactions involving these two digital currencies will be blocked by Poloniex. All we need to do is to wait until Poloniex enables the trading of Steem and SBDs.
