#5 - Mikepicker's Pixel Art
Hi Steemians!
It's time to let our Steeman from our previous posts have some fun.
First, Let's recap a little:
- We've realized the spritesheet for our zombies (post #1)
- We've realized the spritesheet for Steeman (post #2)
- We've created a background using a techinque called parallax scrolling (post #3)
Now that everything is ready, here is the final result:
This tiny game is written in Javascript, with the help of a library called Phaser.

Hi man, nice work. The choice of the color is fantastic. What is you palette?
Hi! One of the most important tip for pixel art is "recycling" your colors. As you can see, the same brown is used for pants, hairs and the rifle. This makes the result more "coherent". for the background, I've used several tones of gray (neutral color).
