I am finally back!

This week, I’ve been very sick and unproductive.

On Wednesday, while surfing the internet, I came across an old classmate. She seemed to be doing so well, so purposeful, so put together.

For a moment, I began to feel less of myself. I questioned almost everything I was doing and wondered if I was falling behind.

But then I remembered something important: I’m not hopeless.

I have ideas. I have dreams. I have things I’m already working on, and there are things I long to do that are simply beyond my control right now.

For those few seconds I spent comparing myself, I forgot that I have a life of my own and that our journeys were never meant to look the same.

Comparison won’t change your current situation.
It only blinds you to the beauty of where you’re headed and the person you’re still becoming.

Your timeline is not a mistake. Your pace is not your worth.

Have you ever found yourself comparing your life to someone else’s? What did it teach you?
