Vision of A Sunset

The setting sun in the horizon
Paint the sky with am orange hue
I stare, thoughts to sedate
As memories of a lost love
Cross the channels of my senses.

In solitude, I look back and reminisce
All these cherished moments we shared
The silent whispers under the moonlight
The walk on the park on a cold summer's night.

Too many promises were made
Both of us solemnly pledge that this passion
Will forever through all of eternity endure
Yet now, where have all of them gone?

I could no longer stare at the setting sun
Tears are kept from falling
But for how long? Now comes a strange vision
A vision of a lost love, a sunset of dreams.

I weep as I come to realize you're gone
Through all of time...
