ALONE IN THE DARK

I lay alone in the dark.

Deep beneath the ocean. Where I've lost myself to the darkness. And I've become one with it.

I remember trying to swim out. Back when I was drowning.

I fought so hard to survive. But eventually my strength wore out.

I remember getting tired.

Too tired to continue.

And With no-one to lend me breathe or hear my muffled screams. I embraced the ocean and let myself be carried by it's tides.

I remember the ocean.

The ocean of depression.

The one in which my life was lost. And only darkness remains.

But in all my despair

I chose a different path

A part of growth and expanding my intellect

I had to because failure can't ever be an option.

I chose a part to be with God and rely in his words

Now my life is Happy and my Joy is Divine
