Repurposing!
Do you like to find new uses for items that no longer serve a purpose? Welcome to the wonderful world of repurposing. There is furniture, Garden Art, home accessories, and even kitchen uses with repurposing. But beware you may find yourself addicted and picking things up on the side of the road. Yes, that's part of the fun.
It can be as easier as making a few repairs, and painting for a new life on a piece of furniture. Or it can get complex, where you take apart something and find several different uses for the pieces. It can be rewarding and fulfilling. Have fun repurposing, and good luck!

As a long-time homesteader, I always find items that can and are repurposed.

Yes, There is nothing wrong in finding value in used, pre-owned or second-hand items. It helps you save money. It reduces your impact on the world's resources. It cuts pollution. It is heroic, not demeaning, to recycle, and we can add more value to them by repairing and modifying/customizing those items. ☺
