‎Hace un tiempo escribí sobre un curso de costura que estoy haciendo junto a mi novia @anne002

Ahora quiero contarles como me va con este proyecto.
‎
‎Ya han transcurrido alrededor de dos meses (si no me equivoco) desde que iniciamos esta experiencia ¡y vaya que experiencia!
‎
Nunca me imaginé a mi mismo cosiendo mi propia ropa
‎
‎Hasta este punto aprendí a patronar y confeccionar franelas, ropa interior, shorts, pantalones deportivos tipo mono, joggers y pantalones de vestir.
‎
‎El resto de mis compañeras se han especializado en prendas femeninas. Yo no me siento muy cómodo en eso. Lo mío son las confecciones para caballeros. 😅

Aqui en la clase de patronaje. La franela que tengo puesta esta elaborada por mi.

En esta clase aprendíamos a elaborar joggers y pantalones de vestir.

‎Luego, ya en casa, confeccionando en la práctica los patrones que aprendimos en el curso.

Los resultados me dejaron muy satisfecho.

Arriba, las piezas listas para coser.

Abajo, las prendas terminadas, tanto la franela como el pantalon.

Y acá una muestra de ropa interior.

Se siente muy bien cuando se aprende alguna utilidad con lo que hacemos con nuestras manos, y mas aun cuando eso que se hace es para uno mismo.
‎
‎A partir de ahora, no tendré excusa para no tener ropa bien confeccionada y de calidad.
‎
‎Ahora solo me falta terminar este pantalón.
‎

‎Como tengo que atender varias cosas a la vez, me siento a terminar de coserlo de a poco. Parte por parte.
‎
‎Así que cuando lo tenga listo, se los mostraré.
‎

A while ago, I wrote about a sewing course I’m doing with my girlfriend @anne002.

Now I want to tell you how I’m getting on with this project.
‎
‎It’s been about two months (if I’m not mistaken) since we started this adventure – and what an adventure it’s been!
‎
I never imagined myself sewing my own clothes
‎
‎So far, I’ve learnt how to pattern and make T-shirts, underwear, shorts, tracksuit bottoms, joggers and smart trousers.
‎
‎The rest of my classmates have specialised in women’s clothing. I don’t feel very comfortable with that. Men’s clothing is my thing. 😅

‎Then, back at home, putting into practice the patterns we learnt on the course.

It feels great when you learn a useful skill through working with your hands, and even more so when what you’re making is for yourself.
‎
‎From now on, I’ll have no excuse for not having well-made, high-quality clothes.
‎
‎Now I just need to finish these trousers.
‎
‎

‎As I’ve got several things to sort out at once, I’m sitting down to finish sewing it bit by bit. Piece by piece.
‎
‎So when it’s ready, I’ll show it to you.
