I don't know if you noticed.
I stayed where the door was closest.
I heard a voice from the second floor.
I never had the nerve to explore.

Your soul was calling.
I had no chance of stalling.
You locked your door shut.
This was not what we discussed.

I got further from my exit.
Here is where I give you credit.
I make my way up the second floor.
and I don't feel like leaving anymore .
