The worst prison

A home should be a haven of tranquillity and harmony, an oasis where its inhabitants can find peace and well-being away from the storms outside.

However, when serenity is conspicuous by its absence and tension, conflict and discord take its place, the home ceases to be a place of comfort and becomes a prison.

A house without peace is like a prison where one feels trapped, unable to escape from the anxiety and discomfort that dwells there.

No rest or relief is possible as long as the waters of division do not stop churning.

A depressive and exhausting climate will reign inside, undermining the spirits of those who are forced to remain in this toxicity-laden environment.

More than four walls and a roof, a home requires harmony, respect, understanding and affection among its occupants if it is to become a real refuge and not a personal dungeon.

Only then will it cease to be the worst possible prison.
