Akkerman fortress
Hello my friends.
Let me tell you about one interesting place. I had a rest there with my family just a few months ago. This is a very interesting and historical place.
It is Akkerman Fortress. Its historical and architectural monument of the Most Important Fortress of Ukraine.
The fortress was built on the remains of the ancient Greek place of Tira.
The back area of the Akkerman fortress is close to 9 hectares, the additional wall outside the perimeter is close to 2.5 km, the height of the wall is from 1.5 to 5 m, the height of the tower is 5–15 m.
