BINTURUNG - BEAR CAT
Bear cat is an aberrant member of the civets.In it habbit the dense forests purely nocturnal and arboreal. The prehensile tail is used as an extra hand for descending branches. It feeds on fruit, egg, bird, and other small animals. Range: Malaya, Sumatera, Kalimantan and Java.
Binyutung adalah sejenis binstang yang menyimpang dari suku musang, tinggal di hutan lebat di atas pohon, dan keluar di malam hari saja. Ekornya dpt di kaitkan pada dahan, untuk membantu kalau bergerak turun dari atas pohon. Binatang ini prmakan buah-buahan, telur, burung, dan hewan kecil lainnya. Penyebarannya: Malaya, Sumatera, Kalimantan dan Jawa.
