I knew a guy that moved down there. He stayed for about a year. He said the cost of living there was high. When my kids were young I had friends down in Tampa, we went there for three weeks, it wasn't my first time down in Tampa but I thought the cost of living was lower than here but things could have changed since then. You should go on vacation there for two, three weeks and check it out. It's a heavily populated area, and then there's the hurricanes you always have to contend with.
