GHANA AT 61

The age 60 has a lot to share in a person's life,it marks the begining of rest in a person's life where he/she begins to reflect on the things he/she has than some fifty years ago.Today marks sixty one years since Ghana became an independent African nation.The struggles of independence were not on a silver platter.
It started with political reforms,negotiations,representations through to vehement agitations for complete political freedom led by Dr.Kwame Nkrumah,one of Africa's illustrous sons.
By March 1957,Ghana was freed from the jaws of imperialism to manage it own affairs and today Ghana celebrates sixty one years of independence.
It is worth noting that Ghana is one of the countries with a good number of minerals,cocoa, bauxite and an ample number of raw materials for industralization.As a Ghanaian I feel proud to say thank you to God for another milestone in the history of the African continent.It is my prayer that Ghana mounts the highest podium to rub shoulders with the worlds super-powerful countries.
