Joyous Easter

On this beautiful, joyous Easter Day, we receive the same Good News that gave joy to Mary Magdalene and that pierced the heart of the people of Jerusalem. We hear Jesus addressing us by our name. With gratitude for the gift he won for us on the Cross, and for our new life in the Spirit, may we share the Good News with everyone we encounter, so that they too may experience Jesus calling them by name and filling them with hope. “May your kindness, O Lord, be upon us who have put our hope in you.”
