It was a thought that distilled my own experience.
In short, we tend to think that love is a feeling. Because of that we put the cart before the horse. And when the feeling is gone, we think that love is too.
But love is how we treat people.

I agree with that. There are many words for "love" in Arabic, and most of them are based on Action, not on feelings.
