HackTheDEX BitShares Proposal has been Activated!
Thanks to the support of the community, the HackTheDEX worker proposal received enough votes to activate last night on the BitShares blockchain!
The funds for the worker proposal will be used to incentivize ethical hackers to disclose security issues/vulnerabilities that they find in the BitShares DEX. The current cap for those that find the most critical & important issues is $25,000 bitUSD, with various lower caps based on severity (more info on severity is on the proposal information page).
I'll be starting work this week on converting HackTheDEX.io into a more useful resource with clear instructions on how to disclose vulnerabilities, an area for transparency/reports, and a leaderboard to encourage a little friendly hacker competition.

Will you require a specific report format/template? Is the bitshares-ui bug report issue template sufficient?

Vulnerabilities will be reported on the website via form or with some alternative methods.
We wouldn't really want vulnerabilities published directly to Github until the teams can analyze the risk, so the site will have all the info.
