Mets Battle Phillies, Win 5-1
The New York Mets took the field today against the Philadelphia Phillies.
The game was played in New York, with the Mets looking to add a win to their record.
The Mets come into this game with a 4-3 record, while the Phillies showed up sporting a 6-5 record.
The Mets jumped out to the lead in the 1st inning and never looked back. Adding 3 runs in the 7th and 8th to put the game away.
Wake up early, as the 1st pitch to tomorrows game is slated for 12:10pm EST.
