Before and After

The days gone by were good old days
The culture even, was melodic In its ways
things were used for its purposes
words of an elder were never opposed
so much of lies was not common
cause of fear of being summoned
staying out late was never got kids
else the punishment will justify their deeds
horror movies got children scared
cause of the after effect thought the next morning

everyone hurried to church on Sundays
religious activities was planned from Monday
advice was the most important gift
we were ready to listen even in one feet
Drama's were educating
idols were responsible and inspiring
time moved slow with ease
even music were melodic
like the bee's buzz

Now?
Even when the sun hits, its like hell on earth
how the cock oversleeps then crows 12 noon
Howhe sun now fights for a spot with the moon
How rainfall starts January
Or the hatred on the 14th of February
kids smoke and ask, "hope that won't hurt you"
couples break up and tell each other
"I still love you"
Horror movies now is a comic movie
birthday presents are now SUV's
Every Sunday is now a fashion show
every Sunday now too worldy
demons claiming now too to be godly

Balance diet doesn't make us look cool
Social network is like a school in life
from Hi to hello that's how we find our half's
young ones can't cook anymore
now its more of KFC and Kilimanjaro
Gone are those days welcome to the new normal
