New 'Savage' PUBG-map extremely popular

Since the 3rd of April the Savage map has been live on the test servers. Compared to other tests it's a small one, but in the close future they're planning to do more and bigger test when the map is in a better state. The map is 4 times as small as the previous ones and should provide faster rounds and more action in an environment with three different islands with a big mountain in the middle of the map.

Furthermore, the Savage map contains a number of small towns and the map, as the name says, is much smaller than the Miramar and Ergel maps. At the time, Greene said that this makes the rounds even more intense: "It is a smaller map and the players will offer an even more intense and faster Battle Royale experience. This gives players a higher density and shorter matches. "
The first was playable until the 5th of April and PUBG Corp. has announced that it keeps the fans informed about the second round of the test.
Last week there was an update on the PUBG test servers that introduced weapon skins into the Battle Royale game. Among other things, there was a system for weapon skins in which players can put a skin for every weapon and there were new loot crates for Player Unknown's Battlegrounds

Sure! The map will be so fucking awesome due to the different jungle-like style and the high density. Shorter games and more fun 👀

I think the small map is in response to criticism that the game can be a running simulator at times. Smaller maps allows for more potential engagements with enemies while limiting repositioning time.
This is something I think Fortnite does really well. You don't need a vehicles to get around.
You are right about the running simulator comparison, but still.. Fortnite is no game for me. No vehicles, no add-ons, the ridiculous building feature and the simple combat. Fortnite is meant for the PlayStation 4 and it should stay there. PUBG may have it's glitches and flaws but I really prefer it over Fortnite.
I do agree with you on Fornite. I've never liked it. Its a over simplified version of PUBG but I think people like it because its less serious and more colourful. The building mechanic is interesting though but I feel its to easy to spam walls around, you reducing the need for better tactical positioning. Also I hate the 3rd person aspect of it, but the time to kill is higher so its impact is less apparent.
I do disagree however that its meant for the PS4 based on its simplicity. Its just a simple game in general.
