My experience with karma

So one time when I was around 16 years old or something, I found a 50 note on the ground, I thought hey, this might be my lucky day, because there were no other people on the street, so I just went on with my day. On my way to the mall I came across a homeless person, he did not directly ask for change, but with the eye contact we made I was sure he was in need, so I gave him the 50 note that I found, he looked at me with confusion and happiness because it was more than anyone had given him, other passers by just give 2 or 3 coins, I told him you need it more than I do, afterwards I continued my way to the mall, and to my surprise I got at a free ice cream for no apparent reason.
