NONSO's LITTLE TIGER

It has been a year since I last drank beer. I am what you might consider to be a company drinker--I love to drink with friends, and since we've not met up to drink for quite some time now, I have not thought about it. Although I plan to visit my friend something this month, chances we will share a beer or two.

When I am drinking, I love to light beer. Some call it female beer but I don't care. I drive now so I don't want to risk drunk driving. This is probably one of the major reasons I stopped drinking. Anyway one of my favourite beers is Tiger. It is a lightweight beer and unlike most beers in this part of the world, it comes in a small bottle. So I can have two bottles and still feel very fine afterwards.

I like Tiger served very chilled (like most beers). However, unlike most beers, it has its distinct taste. It isn't as bitter as most beers, so I don't have to force myself to drink it (especially when it is not so cold).

I mostly drink during the weekends with my friends. We have a favourite beer, she is also owned by another friend and we drink occasionally. I love to have my beer with roasted spicy chicken or beef while watching a game of football or chatting with my friends.

Fun/Sad beer story. Another reason I don't drink so often is because I get too sober. There was this occasion, I think it was my friend's birthday, I had a couple of drinks and my mood changed. I blame the DJ for playing sad songs. One minute I was all jolly and the next I was crying my eyes out. I was going through a lot. 🥲

My friends still make fun of those moments today. I believe I have pictures of that day on a cloud somewhere. So that's just one thing with alcohol, it can make you feel too good and bad if you have so much of it.

Aside from drinking in bars and lounges, I do enjoy drinking indoors with friends over a game or two. This might sound silly but I enjoy playing chess when I am a bit teasy. I usually end up playing poorly but I don't feel as bad as I would when I am playing with a clear mind.

I most likely will have a beer or two with my friends next week. Writing this post made me realise how much I miss those moments with my guys. It is time to do something fun.
