Monsoon
Photo of monsoon clouds taken from Jerome, Arizona overlooking the Verde Valley towards Flagstaff.
Jerome is known as a ghost town. It was once a bustling copper mining town in the late 1800's. The mining operations closed down in the early 1950's and the town was abandoned. I will post photos of the town of Jerome and write more about it's colorful history in my next post.
