Reality

Like a dark tunnel with no light at the end
A cold dark hand resting on my shoulder
Keeping me from life
Keeping me from truth
With a heavy heart and a heavy bag
Walking the broken road alone
So quiet it's deafening
No noise to be heard
Keep me awake
For I fear the grasp of sleep
The nightmares are worse than reality
And reality is my escape
