Memories will never fade
The pain endured will always stay
Despair
Loneliness
Not held at bay
Scars adorne
Pale thin skin
A constant reminder
Of what could have been
Like a patchwork quilt
Always on display
Growing stronger day by day
Inner demons run away
Disappear without a trace
Strongholds crumble
All that's left
Are the scars that grace her wrists
