Reminded me of the ephemerality of life.

How transient, how fleeting

This life we have been given.

Sitting in Tonight's Candle Light Fellowship

In honour of Rotn. Kate Onwe,

A dedicated and passionate Rotarian.

A woman who served selflessly and served well too

I relived the Rotary words again

"Service To Humanity"

As the candles were lit,

In honour of an awesome Rotarian,

I recalled those we had lost,

People who had lived, served and can serve no more.

And that gnawing reminder

That, we, the living, should check and amend our ways.
