5minute Challenge: Competition
Hello guys just finished dropping a poem for the "early gift" prompt do check it out as well.
Here is my entry for the "competition" prompt. I sincerely hope you like it. I write;
COMPETITION
A battle of supremacy as against
bonding in intimacy of heart and brain is what has kept me alive.
Brain's view is often in tune
with what is before the eyes.
Mind's view is often in tune
with what makes skin crawl or not.
Brain has established itself upon
the alter of logic but mind has
come to worship in gut feelings.
This constant turmoil has giving
birth to a much better view of this
terrain called life. Indeed two
heads are far better.
Fast becoming a product of the
checks and balances my brain and
mind has made.
A toast to an healthy competition.

There's jealousy, there's insecurity, but I have always wondered why humans succumb to things that unhealthy, instead be fueled to do better and do great.

How you avoided the temptation in completing the sentence "...two heads are better than one" but left it at "...two heads are far better" got me smiling.
