Google Buzz was discontinued for criticisms about privacy.

It is unlikely that D.Buzz be gone before Hive itself does.

One can hope! Google Buzz probably wouldn't have lasted even without the privacy issues. There just wasn't much of a compelling reason to use it over competing services.
