Altcoin and democracy

Away from the traders and moenymakers, bitcoin has a core community which believes in it. As a power for change in the world, not for profit but for equality.

*William Blake and grand ideas*

Humanity; global humanity; is unequal, unfair and makes the rich richer and poor poorer. As a microcosm Bitcoin and steem do the same: early adopters have power and wealth.

Where alt currency is great is that it benefits those that need it most: Destable developing economies can adopt bitcoin rather than pegging themselves to the dollar.

As a beta-system, Steemit is struggling to award quality content - opting rather to rely and reward whales . Perhaps this is a natural evoultion of Steemit with whales being able to set the culture and etiquette of the platform, before it really gets opened up to quality content.

The value of steemit must be quality content - how do we make this happen?
