Night Owls
Are you a night owl? I am not. I am an early riser, but most of my friends are nocturnal and like to stay up most of the night and sleep late during the mornings. The only way that I am able to stay up late is if I drink tons of coffee.
I recently wanted to go out with my night owl friends, but around 10:00pm, I was not coherent and had to leave our outing and go home and go to bed. Now my friends no longer want to invite me out or if I call then early in the morning, they think that it is a major emergency when they answer the phone sounding sleepy.
Sometimes I wish I was an owl and I could stay up all night and just sleep during the day. Maybe that is why I like owls so much.
Well, since I can’t stay up late, I will have to find me some daytime friends.
