Is it Spring YET???

Is is SPRING yet??

Here I sit in the northeast-ish part of the country wondering if Spring is EVER going to lift her pretty little head! I don't know why - it NEVER appears in February! Not here! But I guess, I am ready for Spring on the inside.

In the last 30 years along with being a wife and mother, I have been a teacher (private school & private music lessons), a secretary, a personal assistant, an executive secretary, a music pastor's wife, a small business owner, and a pastor's wife. We have moved 10 times from suburb, to city and now to the country. We have had 4-ish big, hairy dogs (1 didn't count, we only had her a week!), 2 guinea pigs, 1 rabbit, a gecko, and dozens and dozens of fish & frogs (inside and outside).

We have been through life-threatening illness with 1 son, epilepsy with another, chronic pain syndrome with a daughter. Lost both my parents and a brother. Planted and "un"-planted 2 churches and put 3 kids THROUGH college, 2 more IN college.

In the middle of it all I have seen God provide for us in some extraordinary ways and I guess that is what this blog is all about - the middle of it all. Don't most of us live there? In the middle.
