Will someone please explain how the reputation score works? Mine went from 25 to 15. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?How do I improve my reputation score?

Does my content really suck that bad that Steemit has to lower my score or am I being penalized for something?
Umm... well... see.... the thing is.... Tech is hard... steemit isn't exactly the most intuitive easy to use platform.
