Lemon Green Macaw
It is a large and colorful bird. It has a strong beak, which it uses to easily open several species of fruits that it finds in its natural distribution area. It is characterized by having red feathers on its forehead and like other macaws are a couple for life. It usually nests in hollow trunks found in trees and palms. Macaws as well as other birds are left-handed, generally use their right leg only to hold on to tree branches.

Incubation: 30 days
Eggs: 2 to 3
Diet: Seeds, Fruits.
Threats: Destruction of habitat, Illegal trafficking.
