Did Shapeshift remove TenX because of ...?

I am getting suspicious or at least I am wondering why TenX (PAY Token) still hasn't appeared in the Exodus wallet yet. Exodus added SALT along FunFair and others in the meantime even though PAY is an ERC20-Token so could be added easily as well.

Additionally TenX had been removed from Shapeshift and isn't available since a longer time already.

Is Erik Voorhees, founder of Shapeshift and investor in Exodus, planning his own TenX-like service or what are the reasons of the coincidence?

Currently one has to go through bittrex in order to acquire PAY and this is a bit more cumbersome than just using Shapeshift.
