Bread Pudding

Hi bloggers and food lovers, enjoy your weekend! Today I’m going to share a light, sweet treat that’s easy to make. I used some leftover white bread I had at home, along with eggs and milk, to make this snack. As a lover of dairy products, I find this recipe very practical, it has a soft texture and tastes delicious. Okay, let’s get right to it

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of white bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 200 ml milk
  • powdered sugar
  • ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  • Prepared the white bread

  • Cut the white bread into small pieces

  • Place them in a heat-resistant bowl

  • Set aside

  • Crack the eggs into a bowl

  • Add the vanilla extract to the bowl

  • Add the cornstarch

  • Add the milk to the bowl

  • Stir all the ingredients until well combined

  • Strain the egg and milk mixture

  • Pour the egg and milk mixture into the dish containing the bread

  • Pour until the bread is submerged

  • Place in the oven and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes

  • Once cooked and set, remove the dish

  • Let it cool

  • Once cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar and cinnamon powder on top

  • The bread pudding is ready to eat
