A Visit to the Farm; Wednesyday Adventure.
It's holiday season, away from work, i had the opportunity to visit a farm. Farms, for me, are one of the coolest and most refreshing places anyone can ever think of because it gives one another different outlook about life.
So, i visited the Dakkada Skills Acquisition farm in Akwa Ibom State,Nigeria, as my Wednesyday work and adventure experience
The environment is so serene that from the moment I entered through the gate, i love the calmness and cool breeze that came from the surroundings.
The topography of the environment is slopy with a gentle steepness, and the natural landscape makes the place a beautiful sight to behold.
The first unit i visited was the poultry farm. They have a massive number of layers birds in their deep litter pen, and these layers are producing eggs on daily basis. I was opportune to enter the deep litter pens to take pictures of their birds.
One thing i admired was how healthy their birds looked
After my visit to the poultry house, i moved to the goat pens. Their goat were so clean that i was forced to ask if they washed them with water, !!!!!!!!
I also visited the rabbitry unit, where i saw beautiful bunnies. This reminded me of the delicious rabbit meat i enjoyed years ago.
There were other units like the fishery, piggery, snailery, and ranch, but i didn't have enough time to go round all them
Generally, i had a very lovely experience visiting the farm. The calmness and refreshing breeze that came from the environment made it a wonderful place to behold

It looks more like a zoo than a farm, hehe. I’ve never seen a farm with so many different species of animals, or one that’s so clean and well-looked-after. Your photos of the surroundings really capture that sense of calm you describe, with those vast expanses of grass. They really make you want to relax.

OMG, there's just a lot of cute creatures in there, aside the beautiful view that you can find in a farm, these, those babies or creatures is whats make the Farm more lively no. Though surely taking care of them are much of work. But as someone who's just observing, its a fun thing for us. Hehe

The environment is just so amazing. Its a farm and they are rearing just domestic and aquatic animals. Its also a training centre for other farmers

Wow ooo, I love, love their goats.... 😄. The colour is just like that of my female pregnant goat. I love seeing growing crops in farms.
