THE VOID

No inspiration for the past three days. The struggle has been real. I leave this for those who can relate.

In this blistering heat
I just can’t find peace
Strolling through my mind palace
Yet, I can’t find solace

Staring at this sky of whiteness
Finding the beauty in its starkness
Nothing comes to heart or mind
I feel like I’m off my grind

Pitch black, no light in site
Oh Lord, how do I fight the strife?
Sitting here bewildered and empty
This space is costing me dearly

Less and less I try to fight
Nothing can save me tonight
With no words filling my head
I might as well be dead
