This is extraordinary news for the STEEMIT community. I think a lot of users and potential new users that have not found us yet, will love this addition. If everything works well and they keep it up, it will be a game changer...

That's true...many new users will come here. Shame that I'm not big on Videoclips. I rather read.
I couldn't play your clip on my phone and wonder why.
Do you have an IPHONE? It is javascript based and will not work on IOS. The site comes up and I can login, but the video will not play.
And that's half of the market share. But it is a start. :)
Yes I have an iPhone7 and it only shows on my laptop. That's a big problem because there are many iphone users.
I'm really excited about this also! I have a YouTube channel with a lot of videos on it that I would like to upload to it but I haven't figured out how yet. The drag and drop box is for like files only I believe. I hope that I can upload them eventually.
