Lights! Trees! Sunrise!
Winter in the North is cold and dark, so everyone comes up with ways to brighten things up and make the season feel festive and light.
The twinkle lights are pretty, but the Sunrise can't help putting them to shame
The lake froze solid a few weeks after I took these pictures
I guess I'm feeling red and orange today, so here's a throwback to before the trees lost their leaves.

Yeah, the lake looks like this on a regular basis. I love it.
I’m with the YumYum—those are some strikingly rich reds. Also, your trees have nicer leaves than most of ours.
