Your the Blame

Have you ever let your guard down and been stabbed in your back
But been ok with it, because you knew that was how they would act
then just took then knife out and returned it, and been like devil take that
And just continued to love them because you knew that's how Jesus would react
Or have you ever kissed someone, just to have them spit in your in face
Then just sat back and took it, because you felt like they couldn't be replaced
And you know you'd be better off with out them, but you stayed with them because you felt safe or you because you didn't want to look back and be like all that time was a waste
Or have you ever gave your all and felt like your all wasn't enough, But because you know love hurts you stayed and told yourself just be tough
Have you ever convinced yourself that this person would change
Or convinced yourself that the person loves you even though their love felt strange
and despite your love being real you just went along with their games
Well if you haven't don't go through it because in the end you only have you to blame
