Wait… How Old is Halloween?

Randall Carlson is a national treasure of wisdom and knowledge.   

I stumbled across him in my fascination with Graham Hancock’s theories and their interviews on the Joe Rogan Experience. Ever since, I’ve followed him on his site, Sacred Geometry. 

The above video is a half hour lecture of his on the surprisingly ancient history of Halloween. Not being a big fan of the holiday, pretty much all of this information was new to me when I first stumbled across it. And believe me, it not only kept my attention but I was frustrated it didn’t last longer. 

If you’re uncertain why you should watch it, let me tease it a bit. In this video, Carlson discusses the similarities between MANY culture’s celebration of Halloween or a similar holiday on or near Oct 31 / Nov 1. He manages to breakdown the details that are then found within those overlapping celebrations from across the globe, why they are important, how they relate to our collective past, and what they may be pointing to (which may just link up to another recent post of mine.) 

Thus, if you are familiar with Hancock’s theories, this is something you can’t miss – especially if you haven’t delved into Carlson’s work beyond their own collective material.
