Why on-chain rare art beats a screenshot 🐸

"Right-click, save" gets you a copy. It does not get you the thing. On-chain rare art. Counterparty Rare Pepes, Fake Rares, and the wave that followed, is provably scarce: issuance is written to a ledger nobody can quietly edit, and the count is the count forever.

A screenshot is a photo of a painting. The vaulted token is the painting. With a chain of custody anyone can verify.

Three things that make it matter:
• Provable scarcity — supply is on-chain, not a promise.
• Portability — Emblem-style vaults wrap these BTC-native pieces so they travel cross-chain without leaving their provenance behind.
• Community — Pepe isn't a logo, it's a decade-long inside joke with receipts.
