I've been in phenomenal shape and I've been in horrible shape; I've loved working out and I've despised it; I've given 110% and I've given half-hearted attempts.

The fact of the matter is, no man is immortal, you've got to put in the work if you want results. No one said life would be easy, and sometimes it requires small steps which means you're doing good just to get up in the morning. But never stop setting your next goal, even if you've fallen back 100 steps.

As Proverbs says, "A righteous man falls seven times, but gets back up again." This is why I keep a note in my car that says "a smooth sea never made a skillful sailor."
