Here is a photo from 38 years ago (today) taken by the other astronauts aboard the Space Shuttle Challenger during the STS-41B mission
The astronaut (mission specialist) you see is Bruce McCandless II, engaged in an extravehicular activity (EVA), who goes for a stroll by "bravely" walking away from the cabin of the Challenger shuttle!
