Notes on Gratitude

On 31st December 2020, while others were talking about New Year resolution and goals they had for the new year, I had only one. Improve the quality of my life. and boy that came in ways I never imagined.

I fell out with a close friend, moved apartment, had several changes at work, met interesting people.
Although I didn't achieve as much as I would have wanted. But the tweet above was a guiding light.

I stumbled on it sometime in May. I just moved into my new apartment after weeks of searching and getting frustrated by house agents and landlords. That evening feeling stressed and emotionally down, I was on Twitter and boom! I saw that tweet.

I prayed for an apartment and barely few days after finding one I was feeling stuck. That tweet was a reminder that I was indeed living and answered prayer.

It became a staple for me all year round. A constant reminder that while I constantly chase dreams and set new goals, gratitude for the phase I'm currently at is a necessity.
So here is me reminding you my dear reader that you are currently living in an answered prayer. So , be grateful while you wait for the next.
