We escaped Canouan. Because we can just sail away as we please. Captain made a spontaneous afternoon decision to abruptly leave due to a mystery 4 foot swell seemingly coming from the North and East. The real mystery was within view of Mustique Island the GPS navigation was suddenly off by nearly 25 degrees. Alarmed but in site of our destination, as we closed in, the GPS returned to its accurate assurance. We had passed through a freakish “Bermuda triangle” of magnetism! Happily we were greeted in Mustique to a mooring balls, nearly dead calm water, and this sunset!

We did explore the island of Canouan the previous day, enjoying being the only souls on an epic private beach at Glossy Bay Marina. Even on a comparably Caribbean overcast day you can still see the brilliance of the water color. I’m excited to share a beach picture without palm trees.🙄
