Anecdote

My First Time Seeing a Ghost
I strongly believe everyone must have the most an interesting and exciting experiences in their lives. For me, I also had an experience but mine is a horrible experience. First of all, I'm not a good writer, but this is something that happened to me and I would like to share my experience for those reading.
The first time I actually saw a spirit was when I was 12, living in a small village in Saraburi, It’s where I grew up and I saw the spirit in the house where my family and I lived in. Now, there had been many paranormal happenings in the house before this, but specifically this is the first time I actually saw a spirit. My mother had gone to other city for business, and my parents had been divorced for about a year. My brother, who was 19 at the time, was home and was asleep in his room. I was hanging out in the reading room, which was an extra room that my parents had previously renovated from the garage for an extra space. It was now just an extra room with a TV, book shelf and a computer, and from the reading room I could see both the living room and the kitchen. It was dark, I’m not sure what exactly the time was, but I was lying down and watching TV. when I started to hear what sounded like footsteps in the kitchen. The floors in there were linoleum, and the floors were concrete. More on that in a minute. I saw lights, like collective energy, moving in the kitchen and definitely started hearing sound of footsteps, like someone was walking around with high heels on. I was absolutely terrified because I knew no one else was in the house besides my brother and me. All I could do was stare at what I was seeing and listen the sound of footsteps.
Then it happened. It seemed to notice me. Where the spirit started was just around 40 feet away from where I was lying down, and now these collective lights and high heels steps were heading right towards me. I was scared. I couldn’t move. I didn’t want to speak, I hoped it would go away. The high heels steps came from the kitchen and into the reading room. The sound of them was exact to someone walking. As it left the linoleum floor into the reading room on to the concrete floor, the sound changed appropriately. The lights disappeared as it drew near. This spirit walked right up to the bed, with me in it. I could feel it staring at me. It stood there for about a minute, scuffled as it turned around, and started heading back towards the kitchen. When it stepped up into the kitchen, I jumped out of the bed, and ran through the living room and through the hallway and knocked on my brother’s door, waking him up.
I was so terrified. He also was surprised seeing me because he didn’t know what was wrong. I talked through what happened, not at all calmly. The spirit was seemingly no longer there. He told me she heard the same type of high heels steps in the hallway a few nights before. He said he didn’t tell me because he knew I would be scared. It’s a horrible experience I will never forget.
