Santorini Honeymoon!
I like food, I like travel and I live drone pics and this post captures everything I like! π
We got married this year and we were lucky enough to go to Santorini. When we landed, we found out that British Airways lost our luggage and left it in the UK. So for 3 days we had no clothes and none of our personal belongings. All I had was my jeans on, and a t-shirt and my trainers, I really felt out of place as everyone else had flip flops / sliders on with shorts. This meant we had to go shopping for clothes there, and I decided to go full blast tourist and buy Santorini hat, Santorini tshirt, Santorini Shorts and Santorini Flip Flops - basically went full blast loser π€π€!
The first two pictures are from my drone, waking up nice and early to capture the beauty of Santorini. There is something so magical about the architecture of this greek island. Really cool to see how red the rocks in the mountain, below the white houses / hotels. I have some really cool videos too ( I will share once Liketu allows it hopefully).
The breakfast they bring to you every morning was sensational - especially with that view! Very spoilt this holiday.

The drone pictures really give you a sense of the beauty of these hillside communities. When I visited, it was quite difficult to grasp the scale and gravitas of the white domed buildings whilst standing amongst them. The drone solves that.
And how can I forget.. the food looks delectable!
I completely get exactly what you are saying there mate! You forgot you are on top of a hill sometimes until you look at the other side of the island, or in my case flew the drone in the sky (whilst getting told off by locals). Hopefully when you were there you did not look as much of a loser as I did with my Santorini tourist clothes π
Full on tourist mode is the only way to go haha. Glad you got your stuff eventually.

It was such a nice feeling when the luggage showed up! Mainly because it was so expensive out there. The T-shirt I am wearing, cost 50 EURO's for example!!

It was embarrassing for the Airline lost your luggage and left in in the UK, the positive thing is that they found it left in the UK not really lost it π
