JAMBA AT THE VET

The appointment went well. We found out that there is quite the infection in Jamba’s right ear, and her left one too. The doctor gave us medication and steroids to help Jamba fight the infection for the next two weeks. They also updated her rabies vaccination. She was such a trooper and didn’t even flinch!

The doctor did some pre anesthetic blood work. They want to make sure that she will respond well to anesthesia, because there are risks involved and because she is 11 years old. After the blood is analyzed, the veterinarian office will send us an estimate for the total cost of the surgery.

The total cost of this vet appointment, which included: the visit, ear medication, rabies vaccination, and pre anesthetic blood work, was $319.47.

We will go back on October 1st for a check up on her ear, as well as discuss surgery. Stay tuned.
